Our Story began in 1952; our church was founded as First Southern Baptist Church Greeley and was planted in east Greeley with a vision and a passion to see Greeley transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ! In 1953 our church changed its name to Hillside Baptist Church to identify with the community in which we were located. Hillside Baptist Church thrived for many years, as many churches do we went through times of growth and struggle.

     In early 2019, after a few years of decline our church was faced with a decision. Do we close the doors or do we do something drastic? Believing that God was not done with our church and our community we decided to undergo a process to replant our church. Throughout 2019 we sought the Lord and enlisted partners to help our church grow once again. As a result of our prayers the Lord brought us to Cornerstone Baptist Church out of Windsor, Colorado.

     Cornerstone is a thriving mission minded church. We formed a partnership with Cornerstone and began the Replant process. In August of 2019 we officially launched as One Hope Church @ Hillside. With Pastor Johnny Upchurch as our Senior Pastor. We began a new chapter in the life of our church. We are a church that is passionately seeking Christ and desires to see the Kingdom of God transform the world. Our desire is to see Christ transform the world beginning in East Greeley.
